Dubaïland est un complexe de loisirs en cours de construction à Dubaï, Émirats arabes unis. Il est détenu par Tatweer (qui appartient à Dubaï Holding). Annoncé en 2003, il était l’un des développements de loisirs les plus ambitieux jamais proposé au monde, mais il a été sévèrement touché par la récession mondiale et la crise financière de Dubaï. Le développement a été mis en suspens en 2008, mais en mai 2011, il est annoncé qu’un master plan remanié pour le mégaprojet sera annoncé d’ici la fin de 2011. Le projet est maintenant prévu pour être revu à la baisse. La construction reprend à la fin de 2011.

La superficie représentait 81 km² dont une grande partie prise sur la mer. La construction de Dubaïland devait être divisée en quatre phases. La première phase devait s’achever en 2010 et 15 millions de visiteurs étaient attendus à l’horizon 2015

Deux attractions sont ouvertes au grand public depuis 2006 : Motor City et son Autodrome et l’Al Sahra Desert Resort. Ce dernier est un complexe d’éco-tourisme balnéaire incluant la flore et la faune indigènes. Il offre la première production artistique permanente au Moyen Orient : Jumana – Secret of the Desert (traduction : Jumana – Secret du Désert) est un somptueux spectacle “son, lumière, lasers, fontaines aquatiques, projections vidéo et feux d’artifices”. D’une technologie sans précédent, Jumana a lieu sur une scène entourée de 10 000 litres d’eau au sein d’un amphithéâtre en plein air de style arabe, pouvant accueillir 1 400 spectateurs par soir de représentation. La troupe du Jumana show, constituée de plus de 60 artistes (danseurs et acrobates), chameaux et chevaux, complètent ce conte magique inspiré des Mille et Une Nuits, dont la légende Omar Sharif est la voix du narrateur. L’Autodrome est un circuit de 5,39 km offrant six différentes configurations et intègre une école de conduite et une piste de karting. Il est situé à côté de Motor City, une ville érigée pour les fans de sports moteurs.

Fabrice Kennel, une société française, s’est installée pour y construire l’un des plus grands Tyrannosaurus rex artificiels de béton du monde avec une société locale : Aspen creation.

Concernant les parcs d’attractions, plusieurs accords ont déjà été signés et le domaine devrait ainsi accueillir à terme des parcs tels que Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Merlin Entertainments, Universal Studios, Six Flags et Marvel Comics. En raison de la crise économique, différents projets sont en suspens, d’autres sont sérieusement remis en cause. Après l’annonce de 2011, les projets de Six flags et Universal sont toujours en développement.

Le 27 juin 2012, Disney confirme la licence accordée à Dubaïland pour construire le parc Marvel Adventure mais précise qu’il ne sera pas développé par Walt Disney Imagineering.

, né le 26 juin 1949, à la guitare et au chant, de Paul Gurvitz, né le 6 juillet 1944, à la basse, et de Louie Farrell, né le 8 décembre 1947, à la batterie et pour une très courte période, ils eurent aussi Jon Anderson au chant mais qui n’a finalement jamais endisqué avec le groupe, et qui formera Yes en 1968.

Le groupe enregistre son premier album, éponyme, d’où sera extrait en 45 tours le titre Race With The Devil qui sera un des gros succès de l’automne 1968 au printemps 1969. Cet album est connu car sa pochette fut la première réalisée par Roger Dean (créateur des fameuses pochettes de Yes entre autres).

Le second album, intitulé Gunsight, paraît en 1969, mais il passe assez inaperçu, de même que quelques 45 tours. Le groupe se dissout en 1970.

On retrouve les frères Gurvitz en 1971 au sein de Three Man Army qui enregistra trois albums

Gordevio was a municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. On 20 April 2008, Avegno and Gordevio merged to form Avegno Gordevio.

The parish church of SS Giacomo e Filippo, is first mentioned in the 13th Century. The current building was built in the 17th Century on the remains of a previous church from the 14th Century. It contains paintings by Giovanni Antonio Vanoni (19th Century) and probably by Giuseppe Antonio Felice Orelli, who created frescoes in the adjacent ossuary in 1753. In village of Brièè, in 1666, the chapel of S. Antonio Abate was built. In the 14th Century both Gordevio and Avegno had their own chaplain. The two villages broke away from the mother church in Maggia, and parted from each other probably about 1645.

The village center of contains some houses from the 19th Century. Due to lack of farming land, emigration (at first mainly to Rome, but in the second half of the 19th Century overseas as well) lowered the number of inhabitants. In the last decades of the 20th Century, the population has risen again. This increase is mainly due to its proximity to agglomeration of Locarno. Agricultural jobs have practically disappeared from the village.

The village is located in the Vallemaggia district. It consists of two sections, Villa and Brièè, which are separated by the Ri di Gèi stream.

The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Per bend gules two fleurs de lis argent and of the last a cross pattee per saltire azure and of the first and overall a bendlet of the third.

Gordevio has a population (As of December 2004) of 812. Most of the population (as of 2000) speaks Italian language (675 or 84.6%), with German being second most common (80 or 10.0%) and French being third (29 or 3.6%)

In 2000 there were 422 apartments in the village. The most common apartment size was 4 rooms of which there were 112. There were 18 single room apartments and 122 apartments with five or more rooms. Of these apartments, a total of 270 apartments (64.0% of the total) were permanently occupied, while 142 apartments (33.6%) were seasonally occupied and 10 apartments (2.4%) were empty.

Siniša Ubiparipović (serbische Schreibweise: Синиша Убипариповић) (* 25. August 1983 in Zenica, Jugoslawien) ist ein bosnisch-herzegowinischer Fußballspieler auf der Position eines zentralen und defensiven Mittelfeldspielers.

Nachdem Ubiparipović als Kind mit seinen Eltern vor dem Bosnienkrieg nach Belgrad, Serbien geflüchtet war, kam er im Jahre 1999 in die Vereinigten Staaten.

Seine aktive Karriere als Fußballspieler begann im Jahre 2000, als er an der Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio, aufgenommen wurde. Dort spielte er bis 2001 im Fußballteam und führte in beiden Jahren die Torschützenliste an der High School an. Mit seinen insgesamt 60 Treffern stellte Ubiparipović einen neuen Schulrekord auf. 2002 kam er an die University of Illinois at Chicago, wo er bis zum Ende des Jahres bei 20 absolvierten Partien auf acht Treffer, sowie neun Assits kam. Nur ein Jahr später, im Jahre 2003, wechselte Ubiparipović an die University of Akron, an der er im ersten Jahr an der Universität als Redshirt Freshman in nur drei Spielen zum Einsatz kam. Für die verbleibende Saison musste er wegen einer Verletzung pausieren, weshalb er erst im darauffolgenden Jahr als Sophomore zurück ins Team fand. Als Sophomore spielte er im Jahre 2004 in 18 Spielen, in denen er insgesamt zwei Tore erzielte. In seinem dritten Studienjahr absolvierte Ubiparipović 23 Partien, schoss dabei 17 Tore und machte sieben Torvorlagen. Weiters erzielte er in verschiedenen Turnieren Hattricks und Doppelpacks und wurde als einer der herausragendsten Spieler an der Universität, sowie in der gesamten Umgebung angesehen. Im Jahre 2006 wurde er als Mid-American Conference Player of the Year ausgezeichnet.

Während seiner Studienzeit wechselte Ubiparipović 2005 zu den Cleveland Internationals in die USL Premier Development League, einer Amateurliga. Dort kam er in zwei Spielen zum Einsatz, woraufhin er ein Jahr später ligaintern zum Chicago Fire Premier transferierte, wo er zwölf Partien absolvierte und dabei drei Tore schoss.

, als er beim MLS SuperDraft 2007 in der 3. Runde als 33. Pick zu den New York Red Bulls gedraftet wurde. In der Saison 2007 kam Ubiparipović zu zwölf Ligaeinsätzen, sowie zu zwei Einsätzen beim MLS Cup und einem Einsatz im Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Am Anfang der Saison 2008 stand er in der Anfangsformation der New York Red Bulls, doch schied er nach einigen Höhen und Tiefen im Laufe der Saison aus der Startformation und musste sich stattdessen mit einem Platz auf der Ersatzbank begnügen. Nach mehr oder wenigen guten Spielen der Red Bulls schaffte es der Bosnier erneut in die Startformation für die letzten Spiele der Playoffs.

Seit seinem Wechsel zu den New York Red Bulls im Jahre 2007 kam Ubiparipović in 69 Ligaspielen auf zwei Treffer. Während seines Engagements bei den NYRB spielte er im Jahr 2007 als Leihspieler eine Partie für den Minnesota Thunder aus der zweitklassigen USL First Division und erzielte in dem Spiel gleich ein Tor.

Am 24. Januar 2011 erklärten die New York Red Bulls Ubiparipović’s Vertrag nicht für die Saison 2011 verlängern zu wollen.

Nach drei Jahren bei Montreal Impact, wechselte er 2014 zurück in die NASL zum Ottawa Fury FC.
